Dealer Comments
The 2025 Ford F-150 STX delivers long-term ownership value through proven reliability, strong resale, and a durable build that stands up to years of real-world use. Equipped with a 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine and rear-wheel drive, this crew cab truck is designed to minimize costly repairs while maximizing the utility expected from a full-size pickup. With an EPA rating of 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway, it offers a rare combination of low running costs and high capability, making it a smart investment for those seeking an affordable cost of ownership.
Pragmatic buyers who prioritize reliability, durability, and high resale value will appreciate what this truck brings to the table. Its robust construction and reputation for long service life make it ideal for business owners, contractors, and families that depend on their vehicle day in and day out. The F-150 STX is particularly well-suited for the Lakeland, FL climate and lifestyle, providing dependable transportation for hauling tools, supplies, or recreational gear with confidence in all conditions.
Engineered for the long haul, this truck features the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine paired with an automatic transmission for smooth, efficient power delivery. The powertrain is recognized for its high-mile reputation, offering owners peace of mind that the engine and transmission are built to handle heavy loads and demanding job sites year after year. Its rear-wheel drive configuration ensures reliable performance for typical truck duties, while the F-150’s responsive handling makes for an easy transition from work to family life.
Long-term value is protected by an extensive array of active safety features, including ABS brakes, traction control, electronic stability control, and advanced airbag systems. These technologies work together to reduce the likelihood and severity of accidents, helping keep both occupants and cargo secure. The inclusion of SYNC 4 911 Assist and rear parking sensors further enhances situational awareness, supporting safer maneuvering in crowded lots or tight job sites without compromising on daily usability.
The F-150 STX is equipped with practical features designed to ease ownership and streamline daily tasks. Equipment Group 200A Mid brings conveniences like remote keyless entry, power windows, a rear window defroster, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. The SYNC 4 system with SiriusXM 360L and FordPass Connect 5G internet capability provides connectivity and entertainment on the go. Heated door mirrors and fully automatic headlights add to all-weather usability, while a split folding rear seat increases cargo flexibility inside the cabin.
Compared to rivals like the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Ram 1500, the F-150 STX stands out for its robust resale value and established reputation for reliability. Its combination of efficient EcoBoost power, lower projected depreciation, and comprehensive feature set makes it a top pick among full-size trucks for owners focused on minimizing total cost over the vehicle’s lifespan. The F-150’s reputation for holding value and enduring tough use often surpasses its direct competitors, which can translate to lower ownership costs over time.
What warranty coverage came with this truck? The original US factory powertrain warranty was 5 years or 60,000 miles, with corrosion protection for 5 years and unlimited miles, plus roadside assistance for 5 years or 60,000 miles from the in-service date.
